Teju Babyface premier his own show

STAND-UP comedian Teju Babyface has
taken his act a notch higher. The boyish-
looking rib
cracker, also notable for his role in
Nollywood flick, Diamond Ring, has
completed work on his own comedy TV
show, The Teju BabyFace Show.
Describing the show as an African variant
of Johnny Carson's Tonight Show and Ellen
Degeneres' Ellen Show with a little touch of
the Chris Rock pop magic, he added that the
need to fill the vacuum in TV comedy
inspired the creation.
The time-tested comedy act takes on his A-
list guests in a relaxing yet amusing
atmosphere that reeks of camaderie
enhanced by his smart witty jibes.
However, The Teju BabyFace Show is not
just about making viewers laugh. The
various segments of the show act as a
medium for social reformation.
Teju admitted that his choice of celebrity
guests was a deliberate design aimed at
showcasing persons whose character and
achievements will impart positively on
viewers.
Some of the celebrity guests to watch out
for in the first season include: Tuface Idibia,
Basorge Tariah Jnr., Tunde and Wumi Obe,
King Sunny Ade, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola (First
Lady of Lagos State), Asa, Richard Mofe
Damijo, the late Da' Grin, and many others.
