The two-week timer must
have just gone off for
Heidi Montag and
Spencer Pratt to drum up
some new publicity for
themselves! The latest
shenanigans in their lives
involved Heidi’s mother,
who has spoken out in disapproval of her
daughter’s numerous plastic surgeries.
According to TMZ, cops were called to the
reality couple’s home in LA after Heidi’s
mother Darlene Egelhoff refused to leave the
property. Heidi told TMZ (because it’s normal
to alert the press in these matters), "My mom
just showed up to the house unannounced ...
and after what she did to me on national TV,
I have no desire to see her."

Heidi is referring to the episode that aired on
The Hills a couple of weeks ago, in which her
mother, father, and sister all mocked her silly
new face and body, and laughed in her face
when she tried to eat a hamburger.
According to Speidi, Darlene showed up
"pounding on the door."
"I told my mom a while ago I need space
from her," Montag told People. “And she just
showed up at our door unannounced and
tried to get in. She was yelling about how I
was being held against my will which
couldn't be farther from the truth."
"Her showing up is completely out of line
and psychotic,” Heidi continued. “I’m getting
a restraining order against her."
Spencer told Us Weekly, "She’s gone. The
cops took her away."
But inside sources say no arrests were made,
but Darlene is no longer at her daughter’s
house. Los Angeles Police Department Sgt.
Leffew tells People, "Officers arrived on the
scene and advised the mother that since her
daughter's an adult, she doesn't have to
speak to [the mom] if she doesn't want to,"
"The mother said 'fine, no problem' and left.
There were no citations or arrests."
How sad is this. It’s safe to assume she didn’t
get a Mother’s Day card from Heidi this year.
Her daughter is so far gone because of her
obsession with fame that she can’t even see
her own mother is trying to help her. The
poor woman!
