Flippin'Brilliant

BRITAIN'S Got Talent judges fall head-
over-heels for two young dance acts
and their brilliant backflips tonight.
Duo Twist & Pulse leave the audience
gobsmacked with their high-energy
mix of street dance and comedy.
And teen group Ice pull off some
amazing moves to the Black Eyed Peas'
hit I've Gotta Feeling.
Twist & Pulse - pals Ashley, 18, and
Glen, 19 - have the judges in stitches
by dancing to the EastEnders theme
and The Cheeky Girls' Touch My Bum.
And their act billed as "streetomedy",
brings the house down at their London
audition.
Glen says: "We've been training and
preparing for weeks and weeks."
Ashley adds: "Because we're best
mates, we're comfortable with each
other on stage so it gives a strong
performance."
Judge Piers Morgan praises their act as
"terrific" adding: "That is one of the
most exciting, original routines we've
seen."
But Simon Cowell still reckons there is
"a lot of room for improvement".
He also
reveals his
doubts
about Ice,
a group of
12 to 18-
year-olds
from
Rotherham, South Yorks.
The group's routine was
choreographed by teachers Nikki and
Lisa, but Cowell says he would be more
impressed if they had come up with
the moves themselves.
He says: "Overall it was well done. I
believe these things work when they
come from within. You may have to
fire your choreographers."
But Nikki says: "They need a bit of
guidance as some of them are only 12.
You can't ask a 12-year-old to
choreograph a routine."
The other judges are more positive.
Piers says: "When the audience get up
and dance, you know you're doing
something right."
Amanda Holden adds: "It looks so
uniform and slick. Fantastic
choreography, great job, well done."
