Big Brother Africa 2011 famous winner and popular entertainment personality, Karen Igho brings it on as she pulls a gathering of BBA Amplified edition Housemates to Nigeria in what could best be described as the ‘Baddest’ intercontinental celebrity and fans studded meet party of the decade themed; ‘Karen Igho Amplified!’.

Auctions of some of Karen’s ‘winning & lucky charm’ outfits including the outfit she wore the day she was announced winner on BBA, the blue ‘luck’ dress she wore on all the eviction moments on BBA Amplified edition – this was the same outfit she wore to the Future Awards early in 2011 before featuring on the BBA show, Karen’s black Ed Hardy track suit, which she wore to BBA’s audition screening in Maryland, Lagos and other hot ‘raunchy’ dresses she wore during the TGIF parties thrown on Big Brother.
Proceeds generated through the auction and sales of Karen’s urban street-wear (T-shirts & Tank tops) will go to fund a charity cause as Karen wants to use the birthday celebration to identify with good causes and the less privileged.
Karen is also expected to officially reveal some details on her planned reality TV serial during the celebration, as she continues to bring ‘more dramatic’ moments to her fans and admirers around the world.
The Godfather of the day at the celebration is Chief Comrade Ateke Tom. We got top ‘gist’ going round that the fans/celebs studded party could spring up dramatic surprises and stunts from former BBA housemates as Lomwe is set to perform hit tracks from off his soon-to-be-released album-’Double Wowza’.

Men who feel actresses don’t make good wives have a complex –Ebube Nwagbo

Ebube Nwagbo
Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo, speaks with ’MODEBE AMECHI about her career
Why I don’t appear in movies any more
It is because I am involved in other things. Film acting is part of show business. And it is not easy to do business and still act in the movies. But I dedicate most of my time to acting because it is my first love. I have been able to succeed in life only through this platform. Although most of the movies I have appeared in are yet to be released, some are currently making waves in the market. My recent movies currently in the market include Yellow Sisi, Shakara Babe and Shades of Shame. I may not be as active I used to be in the past, but I am still an actress.  I wanted to grow bigger and have something to fall back on in the future. You know, nobody will act in films forever. But I’m still very much in the game.
My stay in the USA
I didn’t stay in the USA for a long time. I was trying to start a business and so I had to be there to supervise even the tiniest detail. The kind of business I do demands a lot of travelling. As I speak to you, I’m out of Nigeria. I have to source products and keep up with demands from my customers. That is how it is done. And we engage in large scale production. I had to devote time to the business in order to ensure it came out well. I am happy I did because starting a business is not a small thing. It requires a lot of capital and if not well managed, you will lose your hard earned investment.
Nollywood
Nollywood is a very big place. So there is plenty of space for everybody. Nobody can take anybody’s place. We are all different in what we do. Although there are many new entrants, everybody is comfortable because it is a large industry.
Why I want to produce films
I intend to produce my own movie soon. I am not going to do it because everybody else is doing it. I just want to do it and at the right time. To produce a movie is not a big deal, God has blessed me with the resources to do it. But for now, I am concentrating on my business.
My kind of business
I own a hairline brand called Posh Hair. It is for fashionistas who want to look good without having to spend a fortune. We have different products for the upwardly mobile and average Nigerian. We have the Posh Luxury, Posh Classic, Posh Panache, Posh Divo and the newly-added Posh Glam. It’s all 100 percent human hair. We have the Indian hair, European hair, Brazillian hair, Spanish hair.
Why I’m involved in the hair business
It is all about good looks. Show business is about glamour and fashion. As a woman, you are not complete without good hair. Every lady wants good hair. It is the trend now. I love everything about fashion. So am doing what I love. Posh Hair is not competing with any product. I am overwhelmed by the response from fans, colleagues and customers. It’s doing very well commercially. What stands us out is that we have something good for everybody at a very good rate.
Dress sense
I just love to look good. It makes me happy. I express myself with the way I look. I have to represent the Ebube brand very well. So, I always have to be on point. My dad brought out the fashionista in me. He always made sure I looked good even when I was much younger. As a little girl, many people admired the way my parents dressed me up. And I grew up with that.
How I became an actress
I attended an audition for a movie in Onitsha and got the lead role. I am grateful to the Amaco Company that gave me the opportunity to be what I am today and to my friend, Obi, who told me about the audition. A big thanks to all the cast and crew of that movie and the director, Ifeanyi Azodo. They believed in me and encouraged me. I never believed I could do it. God has blessed me through what I do, but everything has its limitation. My first movie, Arrested by Love with Jim Iyke and a host of others brought me into limelight.
Life as a celebrity
Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t a celebrity. Most of the times, you are monitored by members of the public. Many people are quick to judge you and they believe everything they hear or read about you. They believe actresses are not nice people. You live your life for the public. You have no privacy and your life becomes public business. It is not fun all the time. I guess that is the price you pay for being in the limelight. There is always a price tag.
My dream car
I drive a Hummer 3 and I’m also a lover of Toyota cars.
Scandals
Sometimes when I hear and read things about me, I feel like going crazy. But I have learnt to always put on a smile and take them with a pinch of salt. It is not easy for people to appreciate you and admire what you do. Take for instance, the story of how I went to church to pray and fast because of a man. I was born into a very strict Christian home, those who know me can attest to this. So I was brought up to go to church and do the things of God. I went to church on a Sunday, like every other person, and offered to do something for God. But some people blew it up into a silly story. It is a thing of the past now and it has not stopped me from helping or giving to the church or to the needy. That is the way I was brought up. I enjoy doing it and I will never stop. I thank God for all the people who have stood by me and believed in me, despite all the bad press I have endured.
My relationship with Kingsley of KC Presh
I have no regrets for not marrying Kingsley. We are both happy people living our lives separately and we are still very good friends. Even relationships that are not in the public eye break up, let alone what we both had. It is the nature of our jobs.
Marriage
I won’t tell you who I am dating at present. As a young lady, marriage should be on my agenda. But it is not top priority right now. I shall get married when I am ready for it.
Celebrity marriages
Nollywood is not synonymous with failed marriages. It happens everywhere and nobody goes into marriage hoping to break out of it. It’s not a good thing for a marriage to break up. But we cannot dictate what happens in our lives. We do the best we can and leave the rest to God. Marriage is a union of two different people with different backgrounds. It is not easy at all. We just have to look up to God for his guidance. I am not single because I am an actress. That is not true. The fact that you an actress is no reason why a man should not marry you. Acting is your job, just as other people have their own jobs. Maybe the men who feel actresses don’t make good wives have a complex, after all. Many colleagues of mine are married. It is all about getting someone who will trust and believe in you, as well as appreciate what you do.
Aspiration
I want to make my Posh Hair a household name like Michael Jackson’s music or Coca-Cola.
My embarrassing moments
I have been embarrassed by fans. The latest one occurred when some hoodlums impersonating me on social media collected money from innocent people and promised to deliver hair products to them after asking them to pay money into a bank account that is not mine. A lady walked up to me once and insulted me for receiving money without delivering the goods to her. It took the intervention of people around to calm her down. I had to explain to her that it wasn’t me but some impostors out there trying to spoil my name. I looked into the matter and acted swiftly. I reported the case to the police and gave out the phone number and BlackBerry PIN for further investigation. It has been taken care of and I have taken steps to put an end to it.
Friends in Nollywood
I do have friends in Nollywood, but I would rather not mention their names. My friends know themselves.

10 Celebs Who Will Still Be Richer Than the Mega Millions Winner

The Mega Millions jackpot is up to a whopping $540 million dollars, breaking a record for the biggest jackpot of any lottery. And people everywhere are seeing dollar signs. I’m no statistician, but I’m gonna go ahead and say, your chances of winning are low. But hey, a ticket is only a dollar, and you can’t win if you don’t play, right?
$540 million seems like a huge amount of money, but it’s pocket change to some celebs. Here are 10 celebrities who will still be richer than you if you win the Mega Millions jackpot.
Jay Z & Beyonce: $800 Million: Jay Z and Beyonce have a combined net worth of $800 million bucks. That’s nearly $300 million more than the Mega Millions Jackpot! See how I did math there? Jay-Z is reportedly worth $450 million, though some say it’s closer to $500 million. He’s got Rocaware clothing, Roc-A-Fella Records, a stake in the New Jersey Nets, 40/40 Nightclubs, and Def Jam. Oh, not to mention—every album he’s ever released has gone platinum. Beyonce herself is worth $300 million. Combined, these two will still be richer than you if you’re the Mega Millions winner.
Oprah: $2.7 Billion: Don’t even mess with Oprah. Her OWN Network might not be the golden goose she hoped it’d be, but when you’ve got that much money, who needs it? Oprah Winfrey has so much money, when she buys something; her change is even more than the Mega Millions jackpot.
Sean Combs: $500 Million: Sean Combs, aka Diddy, aka P.Diddy, has an estimated net worth of $500 million, according to Forbes. While Jay-Z is thought to have around that same amount, Sean is known to be the richest figure in hip-hop.
Donald Trump: 2.9 Billion: Donald Trump once claimed he was worth $7 billion. Yeah, okay. That’s like 3 Oprahs. His actual net worth is more like $2.9 billion. Still enough to make the Mega Millions jackpot look like chump change. He finds $540 million in his sofa cushions.
Howard Stern: $500 million: Who knew the shock jock was so loaded? Howard Stern’s annual salary is $80 million, making his net worth $500 million.
Jerry Seinfeld: $800 million: The show Seinfeld earned $2.7 billion in twelve years. So it’s no surprise that Jerry is worth a whopping $800 million. Take that, Mega Millions!
Bono: $900 million: Have you ever looked at the prices for a U2 concert? No wonder Bono is so rich. To his credit, he does give a lot to philanthropic causes.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus: $3 billion?: Julia is the daughter of William Louis-Dreyfus, a French-born American businessman. Forbes listed Julia as one of the hottest billionaires, but she denied the claim that she was worth billions.
"It's not true, actually," the former Seinfeld actress told ‘Access Hollywood’. "Forbes made a mistake and I won't be on the list anymore. I wish I was a billionaire, but I'm really not." Still, the folks at CelebrityNetWorth.com have her listed with an estimated net worth of $3 billion.
Magic Johnson: $500 million: We were reminded of Magic Johnson’s huge net worth after news broke that he purchased the Dodgers for $2 billion (along with some other people). So okay, officially, you’ll still be richer than him if you win the Mega Millions jackpot. But some reports actually estimate him at $550 million. So as far as we’re concerned, it’s a toss up. If you do win the Mega Millions, we doubt you’ll be spending any time wondering about it.

Madonna Wants $28 Million for Her Beverly Hills Mansion

You can buy the home Madonna once shared with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. If, you know, you have $28 million.
Madonna has listed her Beverly Hills mansion, only available for private buyers who are pre-qualified for homes in that price range. Good luck with that, Madge.
You might have guessed it, but the estate is huge—and it includes a tennis court, swimming pool, game room, and my personal favorite, a British-style pub. Move in here, and you will never need a reason to leave the house.
The main house (yes, main) on her property sprawls over 5,800 square feet, with three bedrooms and five bathrooms. But keep in mind, Madonna might have had some work done.
She’s thought to have expanded and completely redecorated the residence. A source said the bedroom and bathroom interiors are “comfy” and “surprisingly normal.”
The mansion also includes intimate gardens that are tucked away behind and around the side of the main house. The swimming pool comes with its own pool house, of course.
A little celebrity history comes with this place, too. David and Victoria Beckham reportedly wanted to buy the estate when they moved to Los Angeles in 2007. They were reportedly turned off when Madonna raised the price by ten million or so, and then told them she didn’t want to sell it.
Madonna purchased the home back in 2003, when she was married to Ritchie. The former couple reportedly paid around $12 million. Who could possible think they stand a chance of making a $16 million profit in this real estate market? Madonna, that’s who.

For someone who lives on the Edge… of Glory, Lady Gaga’s 26th Birthday party was surprisingly chill.
Lady Gaga was in Los Angeles for her birthday and what did she plan for her big day? A spin class and dinner with her parents. Wait, really?
Gaga’s party consisted of a private spin class party at SoulCycle in West Hollywood, “Her friends filled the studio, and they had a blast,” a source tells US Weekly.
“She requested [Bruce Springsteen’s] ‘Thunder Road’ because it’s one of her favorite songs,” adds the source.
After spin class she sat down for an intimate dinner with just her parents. They didn’t even go out to a restaurant!
“It was just a small thing with her family,” says the insider, “her mother cooked!”
Gaga finally took a break from her hectic work schedule to celebrate her b-day and according to this super knowledgeable source, it was a very happy birthday.
“She’s been ridiculously busy, and has been working herself very very hard, but everyone had the most amazing time [yesterday]!”
The day before Gaga’s birthday she tweeted, “This is how it feels turning 26 in three and a half hours. Ha!”
She then tweeted a picture of a sad looking piece of cake on a paper plate with a single lonely candle. Hey, I heard 26 is the new 21, right?
Happy Birthday Lady Gaga.

Ice Prince, Gyptian release ‘Magician’ music video

“The Magician” the music video from Africa’s most-requested artist, Ice Prince, featuring reggae chart topper Gyptian and produced by Jesse Jagz is out and sizzling on TV networks.
The hit single “Magician” was originally released as part of Ice Prince’s debut album, E.L.I. “Everybody Loves Ice Prince”, in October 2011.
Ice-Prince
It was shortly thereafter that Spinlet partnered with Chocolate City in Nigeria and learned Ice Prince had an interest in working with Gyptian in some format.
At that time, Spinlet was also in talks with VP records (Queens, New York) to bring their massive reggae catalog to the Spinlet service.
Because of their relationship with both parties, Spinlet was able to confirm Gyptian’s participation; one of Jamaica’s hottest R&B/Reggae stars who’s achieved mainstream success, to add his own verses to Ice Prince’s song.
“It is a pleasure for Spinlet to work with such accomplished artistes from two separate countries from different genres whose styles blend so well,” says Spinlet CEO Eric Idiahi.
“This song has great potential to succeed, with two high profile players involved, Ice Prince (artist/writer) and Jesse Jagz (producer), both signed to Chocolate City, that’s why we chose this to be the first in our sponsored song/video collaboration.
Bringing in Gyptian as part of the re-mix supports Spinlet’s initiative to promote the work of Jamaican artists throughout Africa, and in creative ways exposing them to a new market with massive revenue potential,” say Spinlet CMO Mark Redguard.
The video was shot by one of the most respected directors in the Nigerian Music Video scene, Clarence Peters. Filmed in Lagos at KOGA studios, the video had five sets and is done in a 360-circle fashion.

Chika Ike gives mum a jeep

Top Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Chika Ike presented a car gift to her mother, Mrs Florence Ike to mark this year’s Mothers’ Day.

Rukky Sanda, face – lift too?

The news is making the rounds that popular Nollywood star and actress, Rukky Sanders has joined some of her colleagues to stop natural aging process by undergoing plastic surgery. It would be recalled that Rukky Sanda, a Lagos born actress was a student of the Lagos State University in 2005 and she came into acting when ASSU strike lasted that whole year.
Left...Ruki Sanda (before)... Right... Ruki Sanda (now)
Today, this pretty graduate of Lagos state University has indeed done well for herself both in acting, in the production of three movies and entrepreneurship.  Sources told matinee that she and some of nollywood big babes have made it a must as they have decided to stop at nothing for a face or breast job in order to keep looking good and ageless.
Whether this is true is not, it is not our concern and it shouldn’t be the business of busy bodies spreading the gist.  It is a free world and a free space for anyone who wants to do plastic surgery on his or her face, perhaps it is a nose job like that of the late American celeb., Michael Jackson.

Monalisa Chinda, Nse Etim-Ikpe end rift

AFTER their fallout few months ago, actresses, Monalisa Chinda and Nse Etim-Ikpe may have  resolved their differences.
The two talented actresses were best of friends until late last year when they fell apart, as a result of inflated egos, allegations and counter allegations of back stabbing.
Monalisa Chinda
But the good news is that they have decided to end their  five month old rift.
Lisa and Nse, HVP gathered have been mingling together lately. Most places where Mona goes these days, one is bound to find the fast rising actress by her side.
*Nse
The duo were spotted at the recent premiere of a movie “Mr & Mrs” produced by Chinwe Egwuagu  and which starred Nse as one of the lead characters.
Rumour mongers had it that the two actresses have sheathed their swords, as they agreed to rekindle the flame of their once enviable friendship.

Gay movie: Dickson Iroegbu in trouble

THERE are strong indications that Dickson Iroegbu’s gay-themed movie, “ Law 58”  is facing massive rejection by the movie bluffs in Nigeria.
Also, the controversial film director has alleged that since he released the movie into the market, gay compliance have been trailing him.
*Dickson
“Since I released the movie into the market, my phone has not stopped ringing. Gay compliance have been disturbing me, inviting me to be part of them. In fact, I have suffered a lot my brother.”Iroegbu told HVP on phone.
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that since the movie hit the market few weeks ago, the controversial director has been cold with the  responses he’s getting from the distributors of the film.
In fact, a source close to the Imo State born film director told HVP that since its release, the movie has been facing challenges of acceptance by Nigerians.
“Dickson hurriedly released the movie into the market, even when he still has issues to address with the censors board. Today, the movie is not doing well in the market.’ the source said.
Tongues started wagging immediately after Dickson made known his reasons for shooting the eyesore movie two months ago.
‘At the time, I was shooting the movie, most of my colleagues frowned at the project because it was rumour then that some of them were involved in the act.
I thought it was time to take a stand, given the fact that I was once called a gay, just to discredit my personality… when the film is finally released into the market, they will be able to reconcile it with the Dickson Iroegbu they have known for several years. The world will also ascertain whether I’m a homosexual or not.’He told HVP.
Nigerians who reacted to the release of the movie accused Dickson of using the flick to satisfy his selfish reasons.

Nigerian Idol: It’s a fight to finish, as last 4 file out

It was an amazing mix of music on Nigerian Idol last weekend as the four remaining contestants on the show performed some songs of American billboard top 100 of all time.
With Honey out of the race, it was up to Joe Blue, Najite, Mercy and Stephen Onochie to vie for the title of Nigerian Idol.

*Mercy...doing her thing
The judges  Jeffrey Daniel, Yinka Davies and Charly Boy were joined by West African Idol winner Timi Dakolo who prepared the audience with a superb rendition of his song ‘Cry’.
Ditching his signature pose, Joe Blue kicked off his performances in grand style with a subtle rendition of Adele’s ‘Set Fire to the Rain’. For his second performance, he bounced as he performed Amy Winehouse’s hit, ‘Rehab’ with his usual dramatic flourish.
Najite followed  with a strong version of Alicia Keys’ to the delight of the audience and followed up  second time around with Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ which was dramatised with a choreographed dance routine.
Lover boy, Stephen Onochie, performed the classic love song, ‘When a woman loves’, by R-Kelly, with a bundle of white roses which he presented to Yinka Davies. This was followed by a choreographed version of Usher’s 2010 hit ‘OMG’.
To wrap up the first round of performances, Mercy delivered Beyonce’s, ‘Halo’ with a vocally powerful performance. Her last performance of the night led the audience and judges to their feet as she  flawlessly delivered Amerie’s ‘One thing’.
Fabulious Mercy, as christened last week by Jeffrey Daniels, performed “One thing” by Amerie. Her performance was energetic and as usual featured her own twist to the performance. She left the judges speechless and Charly Boy described her as the entire show.
It will be a week of nail-biting suspense as the Nigerian audience cast their votes for their favourite contestant. On Friday, the next eliminated contestant will be announced leaving three more a chance in the coveted finals of the competition.

I am at peace with myself – Stella Damasus

Nollywood star actress Stella Damasus on Wednesday signed  a multi-million naira  fashion label deal  with “SDA Collection” as the Brand Amabassdor of Amvictorious, a Houston Texas, USA based fashion label company which creates unique, one-of-a kind American-made lifestyle products  for brides, babies, men, women lifestyle amongst other products, in Lagos.

The ceremony, which was presided over by  the VP International Logistics,  Mr. Edgar Dominguez, saw an elated Stella  shed tears of joy as she thanked her stars for the privilege of identifying with a world class brand.
She took time  out after the ceremony  to speak to Showtime Celebrity on the new deal as well as her exploits in the acting business.

BY BENJAMIN NJOKU
You mentioned sometime ago that you don’t  brand every product that comes your way.  What’s the reason for the rejection?
There are certain things I don’t like to talk about. But the truth is, I only look out for things that will benefit me in the long run. And one of the things that puts me off from some of these contracts is the  attachment of a time frame.
For instance, a one year,  two year deal is unacceptable to me.
Stella Damasus
I have been discussing for the past two months with the management of AM Victorious. We have spelt out terms and conditions for this deal.
My lawyer as well as my manager who is currently in America looked at the project thoroughly and we found out that it’s beneficial to both parties.
In terms of agreement  and duration of the contract,  its okay. So many other brands have approached me in the past but because of the unfavourable terms and conditions, I turned my back on such deals.
I don’t want to start a journey that will end in two years. It takes a longer period to make impact on something. Moreover, it’s not easy to represent a brand and help that  brand become a market leader.
What  I agreed with the company is that instead of making it a duration thing, let us make it a life-long business plan. My business plan is to make money and also get myself involved in something that will be beneficial to me. So, this deal is beneficial to me as well as it is beneficial to AmVictorious. We are not into this deal based on  duration. I’m also building a relationship that will last in my lifetime and also allow my children   benefit from it.
That’s the reason I accepted the deal, and why I haven’t accepted other contracts that came my way in the past.  The fact that the Amvictorious is giving me an opportunity to do business with them that can last for a lifetime is a factor.
How do you feel about becoming the brand ambassador of Amvictorious?
I’m excited and I looked forward to it.
I actually flew into Lagos from Abuja to seal the deal. It’s very important that finally, I have seen it come to pass. This is the first time I would be signing a contract of this nature before the media;  to publicly identify with a product.
I’m humbled knowing that there are a million and one other celebrities out there, who are more popular than I am; celebrities who are doing bigger and greater things internationally than I am.
So for the company to chose me over these celebrities not just as a Nigerian but for the whole of Africa, means that I should continue  doing the positive things that I have been doing.
I’m honoured that Amvictorious singled me out to be part of this project. For me, it’s God’s blessing because I have been praying for something that I can be proud of. And today, my dream has come true. I’m very excited.
Stella Damasus is into acting, music and fashion. What are you doing at the moment?
I’m involved in a lot of things. I’ve just finished the final audition for my foundation: Stella Damasus Art Foundation where I am offering a three-month training for talented young Nigerians free of charge in the areas of acting and singing.
I’ve also just finished auditioning applicants for the second session. I did the first session last year, and I have graduated some people.  I also have a new company, which is based in Abuja. We are doing a lot of things ranging from organising seminars to producing movies.
We organised a seminar in Cameroon recently , and after the seminar, we decided to make a movie for the people to see how quality movies are done. We are currently editing the movie titled: “The Unspoken”. It will be out very soon.
I am also doing a documentary now, which is very dear to my heart. And when it commences I will let the press know about it. My new deal with Amvictorious took a lot of my time . We had series of  meetings and consultations. The company is planning to set up a branch in Abuja. All these things took a lot of my time.
At the moment, I’m a columnist with PM News. I make sure that I write my column every Wednesday in PM News.
I’m trying to be the best I can be in whatever that I’m doing.
For sometimes now, your have not been regular on screen. What happened?
Stella Damasus
I’ve done three movies that are yet to hit the market. I did “Behind Close Doors” Part 3 and 4”. I shot the movie about three years ago.
I don’t know why it has not been released into the market up till now.  I also did “Bent Arrows” a  Lancelot Imasuen production which is yet to be released too. And recently, I did “Two Bride and a Baby” by Blessing Effiong,”. The premiere has been done at the cinemas.
The most important thing is not about flooding my face in movies that would make me a better person. Within this period, I went back to school to study acting in the UK. In fact, I’m actually going back there very soon.
I want to improve on my acting skill and my diction. I must continue to avail myself of the opportunity of being retrained.
Recently too my production company did a 13 episode TV Show called “Changing Life”, showing on AIT, OSTV, UK and Ghana. Soon we will begin airing it in Canada.
Right now, I’ll soon start shooting the second season of the show as well.
When you have all these projects in front of you, I need time to sort out  my life, business and my children.
My first daughter is going to be thirteen, in August, while my second daughter will be ten too. I  need time to stay with my children. I want to be part of their growing up.
I take out  a few months in a year, do the things I need to do, and go back to tender my children. I try not to expose them to the public, until they have come of age and decide what to do with their lives. Whether they want to become stars like their mum, is left to them. Paying attentions to my kids is very important to me. That is why I’m not so particular about featuring in movies nowadays.
All these projects in your hands suggests that your music career is suffering?
Not really. My music is not suffering. I’m not a recording artiste, but I own a band and I still do my live performances. I don’t go to night clubs to perform, instead I perform at weddings, product launching, naming ceremonies and all that. You might not see me on screen doing music, because I’m concentrating on my band now.
For the past one year, I have been working on my own songs, trying to arrange them well because after over 15 years in the industry, my fans are expecting something good from me.
I have to be careful not to come out with something that will not meet their  expectations. And before the end of the year and by God’s grace I will drop two singles.
When you look back today, what would you say may have gone either wrong or right in your acting career?
I don’t ever regret anything that I have done or gone through. They are all part of my working experiences. I like the pace at which my career have gone.  And if after 17 years of being in an industry and  I’m still so relevant that people still believe in me and want me to endorse their products, then, it means that God dictates my pace.  I can’t run faster than my legs can take me.
Stella Damasus
Since I surrendered myself and my career to God, He’s been able to order my steps. I’m not allowed to be everywhere. I’m only at places where I have to be attended to. I don’t have any regret at all. I’m happy the way my career has turned out. I’m happy with the pace with which I’m going.
Over the years, how have you been able to cope with the temptations and criticisms associated with acting ?
If you have asked me this question ten years ago, I would have answered it. But  after more than 17 years in the industry, I don’t bother anymore.
They call me old layer now, since I’m not among the hottest and freshest actresses around. They have those they run after now.
I’ve been able to carry myself in the industry in such a way that God has been providing for me and my children.
So, I don’t succumb to male’s  advances because of money or fame. The small fame that God has given to me, I’m contented with it.
How is your present love life?
I love Jesus. I’m in love with Jesus and He loves me so, more than anything else  in this  world. I’m  happy.
Would you say, you have been unlucky in marriage?
I don’t know,  God has an answer to the question. But I’m loving my life right now, and I love the way things have turned out for me.

In the past couple of weeks, Jennifer Lawrence has managed to call herself a Chihuahua, a troll, and a big mistake.
We get it. You hate you. And now, J.Law is talking about her running issues.
“I’m pigeon-footed so I run like I have real problems,” Jennifer told Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts. “So I decided to learn how to run with my feet straight and then they ended up just taping my ankles to make my feet go out."
Jennifer also says she gets so nervous on the red carpet, she’s like “a Chihuahua.”
"Out of the four premieres, I've tripped in two or three of them. Like, massive trips. It's so scary and then I end up getting so nervous that I get really hyper. So then I go do interviews and I'm like, 'I'm like a Chihuahua. I'm shaking. I'm peeing!' And then afterwards I'm like, 'I just talked about peeing on the red carpet!'"
Sh-t just got real.
And if that’s not self-deprecating enough, Jennifer says she thinks casting her as the lead in The Hunger Games was a huge mistake.
“I am a troll. I hate myself. I think the movie is great, but their biggest mistake was [casting] me,” Jennifer said on The Late Show with David Letterman.
And despite all the buzz surrounding The Hunger Games, Jennifer says she won’t be concerned with its box office success.
"I've never really paid attention to the box office or how much money any film makes before. This one, people keep reminding me, so now it's there, but it's not something I normally care about."
