D'Banj ,P-Square,Terry G others on parade

The koko master, D’banj, and another popular member of the Mo
Hits crew Wande Coal, Kora Award winning singing twins P-
Square, Bracket, Timaya and Obesere are some of the artistes to
thrill Nigerians in this year ’s edition of Star Trek, the music concert
tour sponsored by Star, Nigeria’s favourite lager brand.
The list also includes rave of the moment, Banky W, Terry G,MI,
Sound Sultan, Djinee, KAS, Black Tribe, KC Presh and Jukebox, the
2010 winners of Star Quest, the music talent show concluded
early April.
The Trek is slated to begin Friday, April 30th to end Saturday May
29th. As usual, Star would be taking these top of the bill stars to 10
cities around the country.
The cities include Ikotun in Lagos, Ilesha in Osun State, Awka in
Anambra State, Kwale in Delta State and Ikom in Cross River
State.Other cities are Okigwe in Imo State, Lafia in Nasarawa State,
Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, Yola in Adamawa State and Kaduna, the
Kaduna state capital.
This was disclosed at a media conference held in Lagos on
Thursday. According to Sampson Oloche, Senior Brand Manager,
Star, as usual, the brand will be spreading the Star brightness and
friendship to different parts of the country.
The brand, he said, has put together the biggest assemblage of
Nigerian musicians on any single concert tour in Nigeria. He
enjoined the brand ’s teeming consumers in the selected towns to
turn out in large numbers to welcome the Stars who are poised to
thrill them as we “Share the Brighter Life” with Star.
Star Trek is a music tour that showcases the best Nigerian music
Stars and is aimed at enlivening the social atmosphere in Nigeria
and to demonstrate STAR ’s core values of fun, brightness,
sociability and celebration.
“Star Trek is designed reward our loyal consumers. Therefore, we
have made entry to the concerts very easy. The consumer can be
part of Star Trek by paying a token fee of N200.00 only.
Consumers are therefore enjoined to turn out en masse for this
musical jamboree ” Oloche said..
STAR and music have remained a perfect fit and StarR promises
to continue to spread brightness around Nigeria by sponsoring
musical events of this nature.
