Omawumi is back in the single
girls' club.
For all those who felt a personal
sense of loss when she
announced her romance with
producer, Dokta Frabz last year,
it's probably time to start
stalking her again and find ways
to send her your applications.
Sources close to the talented
singer told e-Punch early this
week that the lovebirds are no
longer an item, after mutually
agreeing to end their young
relationship.
"They're still friends, but they're
no longer dating," a mutual
friend told e-Punch.
Although there are rumours of
disagreements and
disappointments, no one would
offer any details.
Omawumi was quoted by
www.thenetng.com as saying
''It got to a point where we
were both getting very
committed and we thought it
wise to stop and check; let's
both take time out to see if
we're both ready."
"We're still friends," she says,
perhaps, assuring fans that she'll
continue to work with the
gifted producer. Frabz produced
most of the tracks on
Omawumi's debut album,
WonderWoman.
Corroborating Omawumi's
comments, Frabz says he will
remain friends with his ex, and
will not hesitate to collaborate
with her, ''''Why not? Am a
business man; if business
comes, I won't run away from
money," he told e-Punch.
"There was no issue'' Frabz says.
''We just had to concentrate on
our individual careers. Time
wasn't on anybody's side. Like
they say, 'make hay while the
sun shines,' there's still time so I
guess we both need time to
concentrate on music."
