Mariah Carey cancels next album

Mariah
Carey ’s
upcoming
album has
been pushed
back so
many times
we ’ve lost
track. But
now we can confirm that the
album has been cancelled. Guess
we won ’t have to hear about it
anymore!
The record, Angels Advocate,
was supposed to be all remixes
of Memoirs of an Imperfect
Angel tracks, set for a release on
March 30th. But her record label
has finally pulled the plug,
saying, "[We are] able to confirm
that the Angels Advocate album,
a Remixed edition of Memoirs of
An Imperfect Angel will not be
released. ”

But, they continued, “It won't go
to waste, we were assured."
Apparently they’re thinking
about doing another holiday
album for Mimi. A label source
said, “We are looking to go
possibly to another studio album
or Christmas album. The decision
hasn ’t been totally made yet. It’s
a creative process that cannot
be rushed. ”
We can’t complain about that
since “All I Want for Christmas”
is one of the best holiday songs
ever! Let ’s just hope they stick
to the production schedule this
time to prevent any more delays.
