MTV reality TV star Erica
Mongeon is battling for life
after she and her sister
VICTORIA were involved in a
near-fatal car accident in
Bakersfield, California.
According to TMZ.com, the
sibling stars of dating show A
Double Shot at Love were
passengers in a car traveling
through Bakersfield on Tuesday
(02Mar10) when their vehicle
collided with a truck.
Victoria and the driver of the
car were not seriously injured,
but reports suggest Erica
needed immediate medical
attention and was taken to
hospital.
Once there, she was placed in a
medically-induced coma, so
doctors could work on a head
wound.
The website reports medics
found blood on her brain.
The injured star's manager says
doctors are optimistic.
