What's happening to CB?

For indigenes of Benue state, Friday, May 28
remains a day they will not forget in a
hurry.
Defying the torrential rain, thousands of
them trooped to the IBB Square to catch a
glimpse of the Democracy Day concert which
was in its second edition.
Omo Sexy... Front and Back
Contemporary Gospel Musician, Segun Obe
was just the right choice to herald guests
into the heart of the event; his soulful
rendition of the national anthem ignited the
fire of patrotism in the guests that were
present for the concert and got many asking
for more. After him came a string of
budding artistes who tried to out do one
another.
J Martins was the first in the league of the A
list artistes to mount the stage. He did
virtually all his songs. From hit tracks E no
Easy, to Oyoyo and the vivacious Eva, J
Martins was on point.
Nollywood was properly represented in the
food basket state as Clem Ohameze came
next after Helen Paul to hail the Makurdi
people. He appreciated them for the love
shown to Nollywood.
Then came the revelation of the night,
Omotola who was received with excitement.
Many wondered how well she would
perform that night. And did she deliver? Yes
she did and right too. She even shocked
many when she turned back and rolled her
backside to the delight of the crowd.
Moments later, Nigeria’s biggest music
export, 2face took to the stage and the
crowd went wild with ecstasy.
He thrilled the crowd with his hit songs one
after the other and spent about an hour on
the stage. With his live band, style, and
artistic stage presence, 2face was
unarguablely the class act of the night.
