As parts of efforts to making sure that its audiences are thrilled
with exciting moment, Multichoice, a division of DSTV has launched yet
another 7 channels to complement its existing African Magic channel,
making a total of eight AM channels in all.
The channels include AM Entertainment, Movies, Movies 1, World, Hausa, Yoruba, Swahili, channels 128, 115, 145, 112, 117, 118, 127 respectively.
Speaking to journalists on the new concepts, the Managing Director Multichoice Africa, Biola Alabi said, the idea was borne out of the much enthusiasm to increase African content to meet its viewers increased demand.
This innovation by M-Net is to develop the AfricaMagic channels further to ensure that audiences get the best possible selection of African programming available under one brand. Thus, all M-Net productions in East, West and Central Africa will now be found on an expanded line-up of AfricaMagic channels.
