Commercial
activities in the ancient city of Kano were brought to a standstill
following a mass wedding that took place on Tuesday. Hundreds of
thousands flocked into the city to witness the first mass wedding ever
conducted by the state.
The
Chief Imam of Kano Central Mosque, Professor Sani Zaharadeen, under the
supervision of the Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, conducted the wedding
