“I just woke up from a dream that I wore a leopard caftan in the hospital. Fabulous!!" Jessica Simpson tweeted on April 24. "Now I need to find one!"
Now that the baby is four days old (and dangerously close to becoming old news), you can rest easy, Jessica found the perfect caftan in time.
“She did find one online…it wasn’t quite leopard but it was a gorgeous pattern,” a close source told Hollyscoop.
Whew… Unfortunately, it sounds like the hospital staff would not allow Jessica to wear the caftan when Maxwell arrived, so it wasn’t a complete dream come true.
“Sadly I don’t think they allowed her to give birth in it!” the source said. “She was wearing another pretty caftan today!!"
What’s with all the freakin’ caftans? Maybe it has something to do with her new business venture…
The source confirmed that Simpson is in talks of creating her very own maternity line, though no details have been announced as of late.
This would explain all the fashion tweets that have preoccupied Simpson’s account over the past two weeks, making comments about missing heels and reactions to television show “Fashion Star.”
So Jessica had to go without, but - with any luck - you might be able to purchase a leopard caftan in stores soon for all your future birthing needs!
