Award winning Yoruba actress, Faithia Balogun, is back again with a
new flick Street Girls, after her last movie “Sunmisola Otelemuye” which
sold close to a million copies, to emerge one of the highest selling
DVDs in 2011.
Street Girls was shot late last year in Ilorin where she assembled the best of stars including top actress Oge Okoye to her set. The movie also has Femi Adebayo, Aishat Abimbola, Mercy Aigbe, Seun Akindele amongst others and it was directed by Abbey Lanre and Tope Adebayo.
Commenting on the movie,Oge confessed that her impression of her colleagues in the Yoruba sector changed completely after the production as they are so professional and committed to their works. The movie which is in the pre-production stage at the moment will hit the cinemas this summer before it will be released on DVD later in the year.
