Ceaseles calls trail my sos premier-OBY EDOZIEH

Nollywood actress cum producer, Oby Edozieh,whose high budget movie, “Save Our Souls” identified with the plights of the cancer patients can be sure that she has no hiding place any more. Her cell number has become a formidable hot line of sorts.
Oby testified at the premiere of that heart-rendering movie in Lagos that since the news of the movie hit the street, her phones have ceased to be silent as she has been receiving calls from cancer patients who want to benefit from her Oby Gold Cancer Foundation which she also launched the same day.

She recounted her experience this way, “Since the news of my “Save our Soul” movie hit the street, I have been receiving series of calls from cancer patients who want one help or the other from me. I can’t do it alone. I need the support of everyone to give hope to these cancer patients.” While the Abuja leg of the premiere attracted eminent Nigerians like the first lady, Mrs Dame Jonathan who was represented by the Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Josephine Anenih, Minister of Health, Prof C O Onyebuchi Chukwu; the erstwhile Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Soludo and Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello, the Lagos edition which held at the Oriental Hotels, Lekki, was also star-studded. A cheque of N2milion was handed over to Oby by one of the big boys that graced the premiere.
In attendance were Okey Bakassi, who also compered the event, actor Desmond Elliot, Kenneth Okonkwo, Lilian Bach, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Bhari Mcwizu, OC Ukeje, Foluke Daramola, Andy Chukwu, Emem Isong and a host of other celebrities. Also few cancers patients were brought in to be part of the premiere.
Actress Tonto Dike sneaked into the venue with her gang of friends spending only few minutes. But all the same, it was one night of glamour judging from the quality audience that graced the occasion; the red carpet was filled with celebrities.
The hostess, Oby Edozieh while the event lasted,was all cheers in her Mon Ami designed gowns. Oby Gold Cancer Foundation, according to her, was borne out of her passion for people with cancer. Prior to the official launch, Oby Gold Cancer Foundation was said to have been of great help to several people with cancer, giving out counsel and support.
