RIP James Bond

So much for seeing
Daniel Craig topless on
an exotic beach with tiny
swimming trunks! All
plans for the next James
Bond film have been
stopped and the project
is dead.
Back in April, they announced that the
project was on an indefinite hold, but they
are having difficulty getting the project off
the ground due to lack of finances.
James Bond is Broke
MGM is currently looking for financing for
James Bond 23 which was going to be
directed by Kate Winslet’s ex, Sam Mendes
but things don’t seem to be going anywhere.
MGM is in a financial crisis considering the
fact that they are currently in $3.7 billion
debt but that’s not stopping them from
working on The Hobbit. That project is still
underway.
