On Friday, the “Fashion Star” mentor shared a photo of her daughter, Maxwell Drew. Since the last time we checked in, the toddler appears to be dedicating most of her efforts to growing like a weed.
In the twitpic, Maxwell stands in the sink. She wears a red, white and navy striped sweater, baby jeans, and some adorable plaid-patterned sneakers.
Based on these boyish clothes and the name “Maxwell Drew,” you might hypothesize that Jessica thinks she actually had a boy…
Not to worry, though. Jessica captioned the photo with enough girliness to make up for it, writing: “My lil dollface is 9 months today!”
Jess’ sister, Ashlee Simpson, has enjoyed the experience playing real-life house with her fellow family mom. So has Ashlee’s four-year-old son, Bronx.
“He is definitely protective, and he's so excited about every time she's growing,” Ashlee told Us Weekly. “He loves that stuff!”
Meanwhile, Jessica has confirmed that she is pregnant with baby number two. According to some reports, this time, she actually is having a boy.
Earlier this month, a source close to the family said: “after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby. Jessica immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy.”
