Genevieve Nnaji’s Scenes Have Been Cut Out Of “Half Of A Yellow Sun”

The filming of Chimamanda Adiche’s Half of A Yellow Sun created some serious buzz last year even as it was still in production.
Just as everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of the movie, I hear that our top Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji who featured in the film may not be featured at all when the movie premieres! 
According to a reliable source, Genevieve’s scenes were not important to the story and were thus deleted during the editing of the film.
This is what the source  who had seen the movie had to say, which personally…I find very insulting:

“I figured that because of Ms Nnaji’s way of acting, her character dragged the storyline, so it was cut out during editing. Her minor role was [just a] compensation to Nollywood… she should not try to go to the cinemas to see the film with her family members, else she will give herself heartache.”
The source added that Genevieve will only be seen in a party scene in the finished Half of A Yellow Sun movie.
Whatever they say or do, Genevieve Nnaji remains a brilliant actress.
