Nigerian British actress Judi Shekoni stars in Breaking Dawn Pt II

The 30 year old Nigerian British born actress, model and TV presenter will portray Zafrina, one of the oldest vampires in the world, who teaches lead character Bella how to fight in the upcoming Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn - Part II, which will hit cinemas November 16th.

6 feet tall Judi, whose father is Nigerian, is best known as one of the stars of UK's hit television show, Eastenders.

Salawa Abeni's daughter, Candy, begins reality show - 'Opolo Orin'

Salawa Abeni's 30 year old daughter, Okiki Ilori, popularly known as Candy Fabulous is set to begin shoot on her reality show titled 'Opolo Orin', which will be the first indigenous Yoruba reality based singing competition.

Opolo Orin will showcase talent in Waka, Fuji, Juju and Apala and is the brainchild of Candiva Signature, an entertainment company owned by Candy. Candy explains what inspired the talent show

"I saw an audition from Project Fame Ibadan, and an old man didn't make the cut because he sang in Yoruba language, and honestly he was very talented, and that gave me this idea, so I started working on it'

The reality show will kick off before the end of the year and will feature Dele Abiodun, KWAM 1, 9ice, Laolu Akins, King Sunny Ade, Sir Shina Peters as judges and guest judges.

Rev Chris Okotie not getting married this December

Pastor Chris Okotie announced the end of his four year marriage to Stephanie Henshaw on Sunday 24th June 2012 during a church service. We later heard that he was planning to re-marry before the end of the year because according to him 'it's not good for a man to be alone'.

Rev Okotie has finally reacted to the report, saying it's 'baseless, totally false and ridiculous'. Ladi Ayodeji from church’s Media and Communications Department released the statement below

"The public is hereby informed that Rev. Okotie never announced any plans to remarry this December or at any future date. He remains committed to his pledge not to speak on his marriage. Any story in this regard should therefore be seen as the handiwork of mischief makers."
