‘I give God 10%, why should you get 18?’ Pastor to waiter
I love this pastor, this mandatory tip can be a little annoying sha!
lol. So a photo of the receipt above was posted on Reddit today. It
shows a bill for $34.93 with an automatic tip of 18% ($6.29) included
above a blank space for an additional tip.
The customer who got bill wrote on it: 'I give God 10%, why do you get 18?', he then scratched out the automatic tip, wrote an emphatic 'O' in the additional tip and signed it Pastor.
Lol. No time, no time!

Rihanna talks Chris Brown with Rolling Stone magazine
Rihanna is on the cover of this month's Rolling Stone magazine talking about her relationship with Chris Brown
She says no one, not even her BFF Melissa was allowed to talk to her about Chris Brown.
Did she think she would be criticized by the public when she reunited with Chris?
She says no one, not even her BFF Melissa was allowed to talk to her about Chris Brown.
“I just felt like, why bother? Nobody else is going through it. Nobody would understand.”Is Rihanna mad at Chris Brown?
“I wanted him to know what it felt like to lose me. To feel the consequences of that. So when that (stuff) came back it hit me like a ton of bricks. Like, God, you’ve got to be kidding right now. But I got real with myself, and I just couldn’t bury the way I felt.”See more after the cut...
Did she think she would be criticized by the public when she reunited with Chris?
“But I decided it was more important for me to be happy, and I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
“When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world. You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it’s different now. We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about (stuff). We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don’t want to lose that.”Does she think Chris Brown changed since beating her?
“I know it comes off like that. And it doesn’t help. For a long time he was really angry, and he felt like he couldn’t get away from it, no matter what he did. But there’s so many reasons why I ever reconsidered having him in my life. He’s not the monster everybody thinks. He’s a good person. He has a fantastic heart. He’s giving and loving. And he’s fun to be around. That’s what I love about him – he always makes me laugh. All I want to do is laugh, really – and I do that with him.”
“Of course everybody has their opinion about him, because of what he’s done. That will always be there. But he made a mistake, and he’s paid his dues. He’s paid so much. And I know that’s not a place he would ever want to go back to. And sometimes people need support and encouragement, instead of ridicule and criticism and bashing.”Does she support Chris?
“Wait. You think I’m here to rehabilitate Chris? No, no, no. That is not my purpose. Trust me. I could have done that from the jump if I thought that was my job. My job was to take care of myself – and I did. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t think Chris was ready. . . ”
“I know. And trust me – it makes me feel great to know that people care. I guess it’s just something that will show with time. There’s nothing I could say that would convince you right now. But we’re in a great place. And I can’t ever see us going back.”On how much she will put up with from Chris Brown going forward:
“Listen, I’ll tell you right now: I don’t have to take it. If he gives me that again, here’s what I give him: nothing. I just walk away. He doesn’t have that luxury of f**king up again. That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”
Two 3 year olds kidnapped from their home in Ketu
The kidnapping of two toddlers - Toheeb Adedokun and Falilu Tajudeen - has thrown Taike Street, Ketu Lagos into confusion.
The two boys have some things in common. They are three-years-old and live in the same compound at number 18.
Toheeb and Falilu, who are the youngest in the house were kidnapped on Friday, and since then, nothing had been heard of them.
We learnt that the toddlers were playing in front of the compound when suddenly, no one saw them again.
The parents of the children told our
correspondent that no headway had been made since they reported the
mysterious disappearance of their children to the police five days ago.
Narrating what occurred on the fateful
day, Toheeb’s father, Rasaq Adedokun, said, “I was at work and at about
9pm, my wife called me that she could not find Toheeb, who is the
youngest of my three children. She also said people had been looking for
him and Falilu since 6pm.
“I went back home and we began a
renewed search for them all over the place. He (Toheeb) does not go out
of our compound, so I don’t know what happened that day.
“We were told that a woman selling
alcoholic drinks close to our street claimed that she saw the two kids.
On getting to her, we met a man who promised to bring the kids to us by
1am and he spoke with so much confidence.
“When we called him at the said time, he
told us to call again in an hour. When he was not forthcoming, we
reported the matter to the police at Ketu division.”
Razaq, a commercial driver, said
policemen at the Ketu Police Division, advised them to also make a
report at Alapere Division and Mile 12 Police Post.
Falilu’s father, Moshood, said he had
been living in the compound for over eight years, adding that no child
had ever gone missing even though many families live in the house.
The carpenter lamented that no headway had been made in police investigation as a woman who was arrested had been released.
Meanwhile, we gathered that there was an attempted kidnapping in the same Ketu area about two weeks ago.
It was learnt that about two weeks ago, a
five-year-old boy, Dayo Olubajo, escaped being kidnapped on Ogunkoya
Street. A suspect was caught.
Dayo’s mother, Olawunmi, said, “On
January 15, 2012, Dayo, who had measles at the time, came to see me
where I sell rice. On his way back, a man kidnapped him.
“The man was apprehended by a young man . The suspect was later taken to Ketu Police Division .
The spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said Dayo’s kidnapper had been paraded.
She confirmed the kidnapping of the minors.
She said, “We are making efforts to ensure that the children are returned to their parents safe and sound.
“So far, two people have been arrested
and they are at Ketu Police Station. However, they will soon be
transferred to SARS for further investigation. One of the suspects had
told the parents that he would get the children back and claimed to have
information as to their whereabouts last Friday.”
France returns smuggled Nok artefacts to Nigeria
France has returned to Nigeria five ancient terracotta sculptures smuggled out of the country in 2010.
The artefacts, of Nok origin, were found in the luggage of French citizen at a Paris airport.Their exact value has not been disclosed, but they are believed to date back more than 3,000 years.
Nigeria's tourism minister told the BBC it was a "big achievement" in the country's campaign to recover its lost treasures from around the world.
"I feel extremely delighted," said Edem Duke, who attended the ceremony to receive the sculptures from French embassy officials in the capital, Abuja.
Over the last 85 years, Nok art has been discovered in a large area of north-central Nigeria from Jos to Kaduna. Experts say Nok art, which often represents human heads, is the earliest attempt at portraiture yet discovered in Nigeria.
Nigeria's National Commission for Museums and Monuments believes that items of Nok culture show it was the first society to have used iron in sub-Saharan Africa. (BBC)
Chris Brown Quits social media
"I would like to thank all my wonderful fans for letting me express my talents/art for you all. But social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I'm detaching myself from that world."
"Elevate yourself above the negative and if it doesn't work move on! I respect myself enough as well as my fans to wanna be great!"
The incredible sketches of Nigerian artist, Kelvin Okafor
Kelvin creates each piece only in black and white, using graphite pencils, charcoal, and black coloured pencil. He's exhibited at numerous major art galleries and won several national awards for his remarkable work. His work is currently on display at the The Watercolours + Works on Paper Fair at the London Science Museum, until February 3.
Kelvin writes on his blog:
'I aspire to create art as vivid as eyes could see. I want my drawings to prompt an emotional response, making viewers feel as though they are looking at a real live subject. I’ve always been creative, but fell in love with using pencils in particular.
It amazed me, that with only one shade of lead, you can create so many tones and textures, and almost create the illusion of colour. It was only when my images started to create a buzz with other Middlesex University students that I realised their impact.'See more of his sketches after the cut...
