My Husband Love My Body Revealing Clothes" - Mercy Johnson

Mercy Johnson is among the happiest women in Nollywood. First, she got married to the love of her life in a superlative wedding that was the talk of the town for some time.
Second, she was awarded the Best Actress of the Year award at the recent Nollywood Movie Awards in Lagos, thereby confirming her rating as a leading actress.
The screen goddess actually dedicated the award, coming just a few months after her marriage, to her husband, Odinaose Okojie, whom she described as “the best thing to happen to me.”
“I married the only man on earth who is sweet, tolerant, very understanding, loving, caring and a strong pillar of support in all aspects of my life,” she told LIFE&BEAT.
Mercy’s numerous fans across Africa, no doubt, had expected a sharp change in her dress sense after she got married.
Some of them felt that her husband would make her discard those body-hugging dresses that used to stir up controversies around her.
But they were wrong.
The truth is that Mercy’s husband isn’t worried a bit about her choice of dresses. In fact, he even picks her dresses.
“I can tell you with absolute joy that my dress sense is one of the qualities that attracted my husband to me,” she told LIFE&BEAT recently.“As a married couple, we’re happy and overcoming the challenges that come with marriage.
“He is not a conservative man. He is forward-looking and fashion-conscious. I love him dearly and he loves me in spite of my faults.
“You would be surprised to see the kind of clothes he specially picked for me from top designers around the world. If I wear those clothes to public functions, many conservative people would have a heart attack.
“I’ve been pleading with him to let me be dressing like a married woman. Ours is a union built first on friendship, love, trust and complete faith in God.”

But reacting to the story, Daramola said  “ it was twisted to suit the writer’s whims as she has never had any problem  with her landlord.”

N15m scam : Jim Iyke speaks!

A week ago, Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke broke the news that the N15 million case filed against him has been thrown out of court for lack of evidence.
And just a day after, the plaintiff, Hajia Habiba Abubakar   fired back that the case was not thrown out of court due to  lack of evidence, rather, she withdrew it after the actor apologized to her, and signed an agreement to pay the money in installments until the full amount is realised. However, an online media claimed that Abubakar also made available documents backing her  claims.
Nollywood star, Jim Iyke
Speaking from far away Brazil where he is currently attending the Rio +20 gathering, Jim Iyke said “It was God’s intervention. I’m sure even she doesn’t  know how it ended like this.”
He said , “the fact that she’s still running around proves it. It was a conspiracy to bury me and take an undeserved equity of my company and I refused and hell broke loose.
“How can it be fraud when I admitted the amount invested? My lawyer advised me to take the deal and walk away when they had nothing else to say. It’s just part of my ventures.
“We settled out of court and I’m a gentleman and apologized for the angry words I spoke. When I’m home, I’m still gonna further hold a press conference and apologize to my family and true fans that saw me through that abyss. Well, this is all I can say for now.”
Meanwhile, reports had it that Jim Iyke and his parents paid a visit to Abubakar’s Abuja home where they pleaded with the woman to tamper justice with mercy. And after listening to Jim’s aging parents, Abubakar was said to have calmed down and made a decision to discontinue the case but not without some conditions.
According to reports,  some of the conditions the actor must fulfill before being let off the hook are that he, Jim Iyke, must tender a written public apology to Habiba Abubakar in at least two Nigerian daily papers. And that he, Jim Iyke, must also  pay back the N16.5m he collected from Abubakar but this time in installments.

INDECENT DRESSING

I was at a popular shopping mall with my kids a while ago buying pizza. My children decided to go into the department store so they could see the latest “wii” game if any.  As I was about to join them, someone tapped my shoulder and said please Madam Stella, forgive me for being so rude I would like to talk to you and it’s urgent.
I said okay, “no problem, what can I do for you?”  She asked if we could go to a quiet corner so we could talk better? I said “okay, as long as it’s not far from where I could keep an eye on my kids.” So we walked in and she brought out a magazine, flipped through and pointed at a lady that was almost nude, all in the name of fashion.
She said she wanted to talk to me because she knew that I was familiar with the person in the magazine. I already knew where she was going and started laughing. She got offended and wondered why I found it funny.
She then started to raise her voice, saying that those of us who are role models are supposed to be setting good examples, which was very true, and that she has seen over five pictures of me at different events and I’m always properly dressed and according to her “covered up”,  which was also true.
I agreed with her and told her I was laughing because I had seen that particular magazine and already had a conversation about it with my sisters and a few of my good friends. One of my friends actually said, “the beautiful ones are always properly and decently dressed but the ugly, insecure, unintelligent and shapeless ones are the ones who flaunt those worn out, stretch marked, oversized, body parts that should be left covered”.
That was actually the major reason I laughed and by the time I finished, the woman was laughing harder than I was. We then sat by the food court and started chatting.  Her worries were very justified because she had a sixteen-year-old daughter who would do anything to become an actress and singer, she has been attending vocal classes, just to show how serious she was.  Her mum was rightfully worried because her role models are: Guess who? Those same ladies in the entertainment world who give off wrong signals.
It’s a free world, we all know that, and people have freedom of expression; we don’t have the right to judge or criticise people; one man’s meat is another man’s poison; this is the 21st century; you must belong so that you can be a happening babe; and so on and so forth.
True, but at whose expense? I love Asa’s song titled, Fire on the mountain, especially the part where she sang: Who’s responsible for what we teach our children? Is it the internet or the stars on television? Why, oh why. It’s one of my favourite songs, so forgive me if I use it all the time.
We forget that regardless of civilization, exposure and status, we are still first of all Africans with values, culture etc.  Believe it or not, these are the things that amaze the western world, because they don’t have that. They want to know the way we live, how we think, the way we dress, the way we talk, our tradition and culture, the peculiarity of our film-making.
They have turned African tradition and culture into major courses in foreign universities, it remains a mystery to them.
While these are happening, we are busy trying to lose all that, just to be like them at all costs.  Most of the copycats have never even seen the inside of the international airport. The information they get of the Western world is basically from television and magazines. This is really sad, because they think that when you are almost nude, every man will want to get along with you, right? WRONG!
You enjoy all the attention yes but try to tell him to introduce you to his family, even as just a friend, then watch out for his reaction. Trust me, the opposite sex will nearly kill his sister or his wife if they dress like that, but they will let you do it because to them you are just a piece of meat.  My mother always used to tell me: “Dress the way you want to be addressed”.
I went to one of the cinema houses sometime last year and saw four girls in their school uniforms, carrying knapsacks. They called out my name in excitement and ran to me to sign autographs, which I gladly did.  They left and I saw an old friend of mine who started chatting with me.
In less than 10 minutes, the same schoolgirls came out of the restroom and when I saw what they were wearing, my jaw dropped and my eyes bulged out in horror. They were wearing serious hot micro daisy duke shorts with halter neck half tops. I couldn’t handle it, and it just occurred to me that they packed extra clothes in their bags, went to school and came straight from school to the cinema.  My first question to my friend was: Is there a dress code that I don’t know about for cinema now or is something wrong somewhere? People don’t go into cold cinema halls half naked, so they were obviously not there to watch a movie, and there was certainly no party there.
When young girls dress like that, what do you think they are trying to achieve if not attention? You know that they will definitely not get the right kind of attention.  My heart started beating fast and I said a quick prayer asking God to give me the wisdom to train my kids the way my mum trained us.
These girls could not have been more than 14 and that is scary.  We need to tell ourselves the truth. I’m going to take time out to explain some of the reasons this happens and how we could make it better.  We should not condemn ladies who dress like that because some of them are going through psychological issues, living in self-denial and have lost every ounce of confidence and self-esteem to the point where they are screaming “Attention”! They just want to be noticed.
Some of the reasons that I have discovered are: -
Upbringing: This mostly is caused by the way the child is raised and what she is exposed to at an early age.  As we know, the biggest influence on kids is television.  Most parents don’t bother to control what their kids are watching and learning. For instance, some music videos are not appropriate for children because it has become a nude affair, and since it is played in the minds of these kids, they begin to think it is normal and acceptable especially when no adult is preventing them from watching and telling them it is not right.
Parents and older siblings also have to be careful with their own dressing because kids tend to emulate the older ones.  Another thing that worries me is the fact that some mothers are actually the ones who buy these clothes for their young daughters. They are the ones that even tell them the names like, daisy dukes, tank tops, halters, strapless, British cores, hipster, low waist jeans that shows the crack of the butt, balloon micro and a host of others.
Exposure: A lot of parents pride themselves on the fact that they can afford the best things in life for their kids, which is very good.  But they have to be careful what they expose their kids to at an early age.  For instance, some parents need to realise that at a certain age there are some places that their young daughters should not go, and there are some friends they cannot be extremely close to. This might sound harsh but trust me, the saying, “show me your friends and I will tell you who you are”, is very strong.
My daughter was invited to the shopping mall by her classmate whom she said was also a friend and I insisted that the child minder and my second daughter must accompany her. Hours later, when they came back it was my younger daughter that told me that the girl who invited them was wearing the kind of shorts I said they cannot wear.  I called the minder so she could explain and she said the girl was wearing hot pants and was pointing at a bottle in the alcohol stand, saying her dad allowed her to drink that adult drink and it was very nice.
Of course, my older daughter came to me and said, “Mum her shorts had Hanna Montana designs on them and they were really nice”. When I got up and gave my daughter “the look” (she understands that look very well), nobody told her to end her statement with “(but then again it was just too short and I didn’t like that)”.  I had to refuse any more gatherings or meetings between my kids and the girl in question because I could only imagine what a little girl her age would already have been exposed to. Kids learn faster from their peers and television. This brings me to the next one.
Peer Pressure: This is the most common one because young girls who are not properly grounded at home can be very gullible.  They want to belong, they don’t want to be laughed at or ignored; so once they see other girls doing it, getting away with it and attracting the opposite sex, they believe it’s the way forward. I have seen young girls who would rather starve, or not pay for exams or even medicals, than miss out on the newest skimpy skirt or cleavage showing tops, just to feel accepted by others who are neck deep in it. If a young girl does not follow this trend, they are called “old fashioned”, “old school”, “mama Africa”, “sister mary”, “ITK”, “booky” and so on.  No young girl wants her peers to call her that, so automatically they would conform.
Psychological: There are various psychological reasons that push young girls into this mode. A lot of young girls cannot handle pressure. It breaks them down. Most of them have parents that are not their friends and therefore cannot share their thoughts and concerns. You find that most of them either bottle these things up and then explode one day and do the extreme; or they avoid the psychological trauma by following others so they are not different.
Some young girls have gone through a lot at a tender age which has really disturbed them psychologically.  Some have low self esteem, some feel they are not appreciated because they are not as pretty as their sisters or friends; others feel because their parents insult them with words like, “you good for nothing girl”, “you are useless in this house.” etc.  The think the only thing they are good for is using their bodies to attract men to make money so they can be useful.  Some actually have said that they wear crazy and revealing clothes to make up for other areas of their bodies that are not so nice e.g. face.
You would be surprised that when you listen to most of these young girls talk about reasons behind what they do; instead of judging or insulting them you would be compelled to help them because most of them are misguided and some have been physically and mentally abused. So this for them is their way of rebelling and punishing their folks.
We need to find a way of showing them that we are not judging them but want to help. They have to be taught that “people protect what they love, cherish and respect. So if you treat your body like it’s an object or a tool to get something by exposing it and showing the whole world things that should be covered, then it means that you don’t love, cherish and respect your body”.
It is also our responsibility as celebrities, role models, house hold names, etc. to set good examples and show the younger generation that decency is very important. We tend to forget that we are being watched, especially by these young girls who want to be like us. They copy whatever we do, how we walk, talk, dress, behave and even our expressions. We have to be careful with the way we do things that influence the impressionable minds. These young girls will listen to their favourite stars and emulate them more than their own mothers or sisters.
A lot of people may hate me or call me names because of this article but like I always say, these are my thoughts and my opinion. I have a responsibility and that is to speak the truth that I know.
Let us try to mentor these girls even when it seems they are not interested.

Rapper 50 Cent is in the hospital after a near-fatal collision with a big rig. But don’t confuse this with one of the many “50 Cent Is Dead” headlines that surface every few years, the rapper is alive!
Judging from the photos on Fiddy's site, they had him strapped on a stretcher and wearing a neck brace while being hoisted to the hospital.
The SUV he was driving may be bullet-proof but it wasn’t enough to protect him from the giant big rig that plowed into the back of his car on the Long Island Expressway in NYC around 3:00 a.m.
Apparently the “load shifted” in the Mack truck behind 50’s car and the truck driver lost control of the vehicle.
We can all breathe a sigh of relief for Mr. Magic Stick himself, a source close to the rapper told XXL mag that “he’s fine.”
After getting shot nine times, suffering food poising last month, and now THIS?
The last report says that 50 is being treated at a nearby Queens hospital.

Nigerian Emerges Best US University Graduate.

A 22-year-old Nigerian, Emmanuel Ohuabunwa, has made history at John Hopkins University, United States of America. Ohuabunwa from Arochukwu, Abia State, has done the nation proud by becoming the first black man to make a Grade Point Average of 3.98 out of 4.0 to bag a degree in Neurosciences in the university. He was also adjudged as having the highest honours during the graduation that was held on May 24 this year.
For his efforts, he has won a scholarship to Yale University to pursue a degree in medicine. Besides, he has been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Society, a prestigious honour group that features membership of 17 US Presidents, 37 US Supreme Court Justices, and 136 Nobel Prize winners.
According to Wikipedia, The Phi Beta Kappa Society is an academic honour society. Its mission is to “celebrate and advocate excellence in the liberal arts and sciences” and induct “the most outstanding students of arts and sciences at America’s leading colleges and universities.”
It was founded at The College of William and Mary on December 5, 1776, and thus it is the oldest honour society for the liberal arts and sciences and among the oldest undergraduate societies in the US.
In an online interview with our correspondent, Ohuabunwa, who was born in Okota, Lagos and attended Lilly Fields Primary School, Lagos, said he left Nigeria after his junior secondary school education at Air Force Comprehensive School, Ibadan, Oyo State.
“My parents moved the whole family when I was 13 years old. I was about to begin SS1 at Air Force, Ibadan. When I got to the US, I was enrolled with my age mates, which meant at 13, I was in middle school. I went to Fondren Middle School, which was in the middle of the ghetto. That was one of the darkest years for me because I encountered a lot of peer pressure. Some of the students, ignorant about Africa, bullied me and called me names such as ‘African booty scratcher’ because to them, Africans were dirty and scratched their butts all the time.
“Some asked me if I lived in mud huts and ate faeces for breakfast. I remember one day, when I was walking to the school bus, a boy came from behind and punched me in the face, called me an African and walked away. It took everything in me not to retaliate. I knew that God had put me in the U.S for a purpose and it did not involve fighting or selling drugs or doing the wrong things.
“My experience during that year gave me a thick skin. I learned to stand for what I thought was right even when the opposition seemed insurmountable. I also learned to look at the positive in all situations. Even though these kids were bullying me, I was still gaining an opportunity to school in America and nothing would stop me from making the best of this opportunity.
“The shocker was that the kid that punched me in the face was black. I would have expected the blacks to be nicer to me. Nevertheless, I don’t blame those kids because they were ignorant about Africa. All they knew about us was the stuff they had watched on TV or documentaries, showing primitive African tribes, living in the jungle and making noises like monkeys.
“In regards to the whites, there might have been some minor episodes but again I don’t blame them for it because it is a problem with stereotypes,” he said.
But in spite of this humiliation and racial prejudice against him, the first in a family of three was not discouraged. He faced his studies and was always coming top in his class. After he completed his middle school education, he passed the entrance examination to DeBakey High School for Health Professions. It was at this school that his interest in neurosciences and medicine started.
“By the second year of high school, we were able to interact with doctors, nurses and other administrators in the hospital. The more I learned about medicine, the more it felt like the thing God was calling me to pursue and by being in the US I got a lot of people to support me to do this. Even though in high school, I got to see first-hand what it meant to be a doctor. We studied advanced anatomy and physiology, learned medical terminology, and learned important skills, such as checking blood pressure, pulse rate, and many more.

“I knew I wanted to go to the best school in the US. I had heard that Johns Hopkins Hospital had been ranked the number one hospital in the US for the past 21 years and I wanted to be in that environment.’’
Worried that his parents might not be able to sponsor him to the university, Ohuabunwa purposed to work very hard. He did and when the result of the PSAT came, he performed so well that he won the National Achievement Scholar.
By virtue of this award, he received certificates of recognition from various organisations including senators from the Congress of both Texas and the US. He also received scholarship from the University of Houston; Rice University, Texas A&M Honors College and many more.
He had also won the Principal’s Award during the annual awards ceremony at DeBakey High School.
“During our graduation ceremony at DeBakey, I also won the Award for the Most Outstanding Senior Young Man and the student volunteer award for my volunteer activities in the State of Texas,” he said.
But his breakthrough came when he won the Bill and Belinda Gates Foundation full scholarship to any university of his choice. He worked hard and gained admission to Johns Hopkins University to study Neurosciences.
But why Neurosciences, Ohuabunwa said, “I studied Neuroscience, because I was fascinated with the brain, its control of our behaviours and how various diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, lead to a decline in its activity. I also minored in Psychology because I wanted to understand disorders in the psyche. What causes bipolar disorders or schizophrenia. I did not just want to label them as crazy but to understand what causes these conditions and how we can treat them,’’ he explained.
But what does he consider to be the missing links in the education sector of Nigeria when compared with that on offer in US, Ohuabunwa said unpredictable academic calendar, corruption, examination malpractice and inadequate funding were some of the problems confronting his home country’s university sector. These, he said, were absent in the US.
“There were a few problems with Nigerian higher education that contributed to our emigration in 2003. The first was the number of strikes that occurred in schools. It took my uncle seven years to graduate with a degree that should have taken him only four years. A second problem was the corruption. We had heard of people going into universities, because they paid someone to look the other way. I also heard of a few cheating scandals, where people would pay someone to take their exams for them or get a copy of the exam a few days before,” he said.
But is he saying that US university system has no such problems at all? Ohuabunwa said, “Although this sometimes occurs in the U.S, it is less common because of the strict security. I remember when taking the Medical College Admissions Test, test required before one can matriculate into medical school, each student had to get his fingerprints taken every time we entered and left the hall. The whole place was packed with cameras and security staff that monitored everything we were doing. The exam was computerised to make sure that no one saw the test before the actual date.”
Another difference, he said, is that America rewards hard-work while the system also emphasises on a balance between academic life and extracurricular activities.
On how he won the scholarship to Yale, Ohuabunwa said his 3.98 GPA in Neurosciences, and many awards he had won and God’s grace, contributed to his winning the scholarship.
“As at the time of my application for medical school, I had a 3.98 GPA of a 4.0. This made me the only black student inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa. I was also awarded the Becker Family Scholarship for being the most outstanding student in the Neuroscience major at Johns Hopkins University. Furthermore, by God’s grace, I took the MCAT and scored in the top five percentile.
“That, combined with my hours of volunteer service in different hospitals across the US allowed me to gain acceptance into every medical school I applied to, including Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, and Cornell. As the time came to make a decision, I had narrowed it down to Harvard and Yale. Both schools, I enjoyed visiting. Nevertheless, while my parents prayed, they asked God to give us a sign of what school to attend. A few days later, I received a letter from Yale Medical School, offering me a full ride scholarship for all four years. That was the sign from God,” he said.
But would he come back to Nigeria after the completion of his programme, he said yes.
“I am absolutely interested in the health care policy decisions in Nigeria. Because there are many changes that need to occur, I will not rule out the possibility of coming back after my studies, in order to join hands with the leaders to make these changes possible.’’
He added that his ambition is to become a medical doctor specialising in brain surgery.
“Two weeks ago, my grandmother passed away after a long battle with strokes. Even during emergencies, it was difficult for her to get to the hospital, let alone get treatment. This is a common theme not only in the health care system of Nigeria, but in different countries in the world, where the poor get neglected.
“Second, Nigerian hospitals lack the infrastructure required to compete with major hospitals around the world. It would be an honour to one day contribute to this transformation that is necessary for improvements in Nigeria’s health care sector,” he said.
He, however, advised Nigerian youths who have the wherewithal, to go abroad to study. Ohuabunwa also called on wealthy Nigerians to invest more in the education of the poor rather than in acquisition of material things.
Ohuabunwa, however, said that his parents, who he described as his greatest role models, contributed a lot to his academic feat through Godly training, counsel and guidance. He also did not forget the impact that his short stay at Air Force school had on him.
“I was definitely not the brightest at Air Force. At that time, I felt like I spent more time running away from seniors than focusing on my studies. Nevertheless, I learned three things at Air Force that have served me well in the US. I learned discipline, adaptability and resilience. These attributes helped me a lot in US,” he said.

Maneta Apologizes to Africa!!!

Zimbabwean Big Brother Stargame housemate Maneta Mazanhi, who sneaked into the country from South Africa last Friday, opened up yesterday and described her relationship with Rockford “Roki” Josphats as “cordial”.
The 21-year-old Bulawayo-born young lady and the popular urban groover Roki were booted out of the 91-day reality show after a sensational altercation that shattered their dreams of landing the US$300 000 up for grabs.
Maneta told The Herald that she regarded Roki as a brother not a competitor.
“As far as I know you cannot treat everyone in the house the same and I loved Roki like a brother to me and I wouldn’t say I hated him but the relationship was cordial and I appreciated him as a counterpart. We were both representing Zimbabwe and we spoke the same language,” she said.
On why they bickered and bad-mouthed each other while in the house, Maneta said it was normal for people who live in a confined area to argue.
“That is common when people are living in a confined area and there is so much pressure that comes with it. At times things would get out of hand not because that is what you want but because at the time that was the right thing to do,” she said.
Maneta said when she got into the house she didn’t have a strategy and just lived for the day, a situation that probably could have made her stay in the house difficult.
“Well, whatever you saw in the house was real that was me and because Big Brother is a game I would change the strategy as I go in other words, I didn’t have any strategy because I took each day as it came,” she said. Asked how she would fare in the game if she were to be given another chance, Maneta said she would probably stay longer and possibly win the prize.
“Of course, I would love to go back into the house and I would do more to market Zimbabwe,” she said. She, ironically, had no kind words for her country in the house. She, however, apologised to Zimbabweans for her poor showing.
“I would like to say I went into the house first as Maneta and as a Zimbabwean representing my country. I am sorry to Roki and the nation at large. I am not a bad person, but it is up to people to see me differently because they are entitled to their opinions,” she said.
Although Big Brother Africa fans, expected the two housemates to arrive on the same day, Maneta arrived a day later following a request by her family, who feared a serious backlash from angry fans rooting for Roki.
“I came on Friday aboard South African Airways around 6pm. I was advised that I needed to sneak into the country quietly because people were literally baying for my blood,” she explained.
Maneta said her comments about Zimbabwe and other reports attributed to her were taken out of context.
“The truth is my family felt I was being accused of things that I never said or misquoted. In most cases I would say these things against Roki during arguments.
“I didn’t mean it. In other instances people failed to differentiate between a joke and fact. When I talked about Zimra being corrupt I didn’t mean everyone just like what you see at any institution there are one or two rotten apples.
“I remember when I said Roki was uneducated most people who didn’t hear the whole conversation thought I had said all Zimbabweans are not educated. It is unfortunate that I was misinterpreted and misunderstood in the house,” she said.
Maneta denied reports that she claimed to be dating Wicknell Chivayo, a Harare businessman.
“I have never heard of Wicknell Chivayo, infact I only got to know about him through the Press. My boyfriend who is Zimbabwean was also shocked to learn about the news,” she said.
Maneta says she will now focus on her studies. “I was studying corporate law with Unisa before going into the house so that’s my next move but I am not sure whether I will be staying in Harare or Bulawayo,” she said.

UNBELIEVABLE! "Married Nollywood Actresses Sleep Around Like Dogs"

There is fire on the mountain in Nollywood but nobody seems to be running. Controversial actress, Shan George has dropped a bomb that has brought to the fore what many have been discussing in secret for a long time.
In a recent chat, Olufamous gathered that Shan George stated point blank that majority of her female colleagues, especially the married ones, are nothing but cheap dogs who abandon their husbands' at home to have sex with top politicians and businessmen for financial rewards.
"Most married actresses in the industry sleep around like dogs and nobody is talking about it. These are people who have been lured to bed with whiff of money by top politicians and bizmen. These same people will be claiming to be happily married, feign love to their husbands," she stressed.
Olufamous observed that Shan George's revelation have been attracting reactions from some actresses. Although it is common knowledge in Lagos and Abuja that some actresses are indeed neck-deep in this show of shame, but no one has been bold enough to raise up the issue until now.
However, some actresses have accused Shan of being one of them for her to know that such is going on. They say she's bitter because all her four marriages could not stand the test of time, and more frustrated over the fact that she doesn't have any man to call a husband at moment.
But Shan has insisted that she's saying the truth and also cleared the air about are past marriages, saying "I have never being caught by any of my ex husbands sleeping around. In fact, I am a one-man, one-woman person."

Young Boy Impregnates Female Pastor As She Drags Her Husband To Court

One wonders the kind of examples church members learn from their leaders these days, giving the kind of atrocities that are being reported about some pastors in recent times.

The founder and general overseer of Lord's Delight Ministries located at No.51 Afolabi Stree, Ajangbadi in Lagos, Pastor Rita Obioma Obiakor and her husband, Pastor Paulinus Obiakor, are currently entangled in a web of accusations and counter accusations of infidelity and other behaviours unbecoming of people in their positions.
Olufamous.com gathered that the couple recently shared their sordid stories before an Ojo customary court presided over by T.A. Said, where the wife had dragged her estranged husband to. Pastor (Mrs.) Rita, who hails from Imo State, is seeking for the dissolution of their 15-year-old marriage.
She alleged that her husband and father of her four children has turned a thorn in her flesh. Here is her own side of the story: "My husband is on the verge of destroying all the works and efforts that I have put in place to establish this church over the years”.
I got married to him when I was barely 16 years old, and he, 27 years. Then he had nothing, jobless and looking very unkept. I started doing odd jobs to make both ends meet. Precisely in 2005, the Lord called me into his vineyard to serve him and show his people the right path.
"My calling was a prophetic one, so was my ministry. Since the establishment of that ministry in our two-bedroom apartment at Amukoko, the Lord has been blessing us. But my husband was like a Judas to my ministry. He was always behaving abnormally to the members, until I made him a part of the church and also gave him a good post. Yet he wouldn’t let me be. He is always accusing me of sleeping with church members during night vigil or anointing services”.
Pastor Rita said her husband’s greed and jealousy has done much damage to the image she had laboured so much to build. The disharmony between the couple degenerated to the extent that she was forced to buy another plot of land at Shibiri, Ajangbadi, a faraway suburb, and constructed a new church, thereby abandoning the old church located at No. 1 Bakare Street, Amukoko.
She also abandoned their accommodation, as well as give up some members of the old church to her estranged husband. “I moved in with my children to a rented apartment close to the (new) church while my faithful members moved into our new church.. So I had to ban him from entering the church and having access to the members too,” she said.
The Husband, Pastor Obiakor stepped into the dock:
Giving his own side of the story the husband brought a new twist to the divorce case. The 45-year old clergy accused his wife of defiling the church by sleeping with prominent male members of the congregation in order to raise fund and establish herself financially.
The land she acquired for the new church and her new apartment, Pastor Obiakor alleged, were paid for with fund she raised from her illicit sexual affairs with male church members.
“My wife is the founder of the church, but as her husband, I am entitled to be the general overseer of the church. I had suspected my wife was frolicking with the wealthy and influential members of the church, my fears were eventually ascertained when she abandoned me and moved to her new church and apartment at Shibiri with a younger man she employed as her personal assistant known as Pastor Nwachineye,” Obiakor claimed.
Pastor Obiakor disclosed that his wife, Pastor Rita, has been impregnated by the pastor she employed. He went further to disclose that she even took the young man in question to the village and introduced him to her family members and relatives as her new husband. “That is a big sacrilege because I am still very much alive and active, so why would she take another man to replace me,” he argued.
But in spite of everything, Pastor Obiakor revealed that he still wanted her back. He admitted that his estranged wife was more like the bread winner of the family before their union ran into troubled waters. He said he is ready to forgive her of her transgressions and take her back as his wife if only she would withdraw the suit.

99% of GLO Ambassadors Don't Use GLO

A recent revelation has it that most of the celebrities hired by international telecommunication giant Glo, as Brand Ambassadors don't use Glo's SIM on their phones or are not on the telecom's network.
Undoubtedly, Glo is one of the most well structured international telecommunication networks. News of their settlement in Ghana to operate dates as far back as three years ago. Many were those who cankered for Glo's network due to unwarranted poor network service from the existing telecommunication networks.
Glo announced a tall list of celebrities from different coteries of our art and entertainment industry as Glo Brand Ambassadors.
The list included; Gyedu Blay Ambuley, Paapa Yankson, Abrantie Amakye Dede, Pat Thomas, Reggie Rockstone, Kwabena Kwabena, Asem, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Wutah, Tinny, Van Vicker and others with the latest being Efya of “little things” fame. Like the much expecting Messiah who will surely come someday, Glo officially touched down and started operation this year. Glo AKWAABA oo!!
As an employee of Flex newspaper who sometimes buys Flex newspaper with my own money as a mark of loyalty to my outfit, I conducted a small exercise to know if the Glo Brand Ambassadors are on Glo's network, in order words, whether they own Glo's SIM on their phones which they use to make calls. The revelation was that, most of them don't patronize Glo's network.
The methodology for unraveling the fact was simple. I collated numbers of most of the supposed Glo Brands Ambassadors. Though most of them use multiple networks, their networks were all competitors of Glo. Probing further, I called another Glo Brands Ambassador who is an age old acquaintance.
Asking the fellow bluntly; “so as a Glo Ambassador why are you not using a Glo line/network”? The fellow retorted' “No and (laughs). Besides am not the only Glo Ambassador who does not use their network. I always call my colleagues (other Glo Ambassadors) on their normal lines”-nonGlo networks.
Since the whole contractual relationship between Glo and its Brands Ambassadors was motivated by investment acumen and not just fun, Glo paid them colossal sums of money to the admiration of all and sundry. Again, as one of the few Ghanaians to enjoy financially from Glo's butte, it is only fair to also use their network.
As the saying goes, one good turn deserves another. It is one thing owning the SIM and another using it on your phone every day. The Glo Ambassadors should show more loyalty by using the networks line.
The germane question to the management of Glo is; are the Glo Ambassadors flouting any provision of the contractual agreement by not using Glo's network? May be management of Glo should feed us in on this issue. Until then……MOTWUM!!

TRUE CONFESSION: I Slept With Our Driver To Give My Husband A Child

I am not a loose woman. I am just a woman who loves her husband very much and didn’t want to lose him. I just did what I had to do to save my marriage even though I feel guilty sometimes.
It was not easy but I slept with my driver so that I could give my husband a child, but instead, God gave me twins, a boy and a girl...
I was married to Philip for eight years. We had no child. “The worst was that I never got pregnant even for a day.” His mother became so impatient that she started breathing down my neck as she gave me no breathing space at all. She moved in to live with us and practically made my life unbearable – in my matrimonial home. I cannot drink water and drop the cup because she must insult me. It got to a point that she stopped eating my food because, according to her, I should be feeding my children so that they would grow healthy and stronger and not her. “Monica, if you had children, you are supposed to be feeding them with all these food so that they would grow healthy and strong. I am getting old so I don’t need all these nonsense you call food. Take them away and give me grandchildren,” she would scream. She also stopped talking to me, however, the only time she talks to me is when she wants to insult me and remind me of how less a woman I was.
Even after she had left, I could still hear those insults in my head so I decided to take a bold step – I seduced and slept with our driver, Okon. Okon is a young man in his late 20’s. He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering but because he could not get a good paying job, he opted to become a driver. I promised to get him a good job if he sleeps with me just once but I never disclosed the reason for this.
However, Okon thought I just wanted to cheat on my husband with him. I planned it during my ovulation so that I could get pregnant, although it was not easy sleeping with another man. I knew I was betraying my husband but I saw it as a necessary action. After a month, I discovered that I was pregnant. So, as promised I got a job for Okon in a friend’s company where he started earning almost N150,000 per month. When I told Philip that I was pregnant, he was so excited. “Sweetheart, God has finally answered our prayers. I am pregnant,” I revealed.
When I was five months pregnant, he informed his mother and she immediately returned to the house. She pampered me like a baby and also took good care of me. I never wanted to do any scan but my mother-in-law insisted. When I finally did the scan, it showed I was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. My mother- in-law and husband were extremely happy while I felt much fulfilled. “God thank you for compensating me with a set of twins after eight years of barrenness,” I muttered.
When the twins were born, the girl took ill for some time. It took a while before she fully recovered after several treatments and this got me worried. Philip and I insisted that blood test be carried out on them to determine their blood group and genotype and then came the shocking revelation. The doctor informed us that although their blood groups are both A, however, their genotypes are AS for the girl and AA for the boy meanwhile Philip and I are both AA. I wanted the ground to open and swallow me up because I felt Philip would ask questions but to my surprise, he did not. He just said, “Sweetheart, lets go home. We have had quite a long day, you and my babies need to rest.”
Three months later, he held me closely and said, “Monica, don’t be scared. I don’t want to know who the father of the twins is. I know whatever you did, you did to save our marriage and I am very proud of you. I promise to always love you and my babies. I promise this will be a secret between us. I love you sweetheart. I know we will have our own children someday.” I wept as he wiped my tears with his hands.
I KNOW WHAT I DID WAS WRONG:
But at least my mother-in-law is extremely happy with me, that is all that matters. Although, everyone is happy but I feel guilty that I selfishly used an innocent man to achieve my aim. But before anybody judge me; just put yourself in my shoes and think for a moment what you will do?

isters fight each other in the Diary room

The unthinkable happened in the Diary Room today when a fight broke out between Talia and Tamara.
After attempting to avoid their issues for the longest time, tempers boiled over and a fight erupted in the Diary Room between the two Zambian sisters. After Tamara complained that she hasn't had any one on one time with her sister in a long time, Talia told her those days are all but over. "I have lived all my life in your shadow. I do what you want and go where you want me to go. It's time for me be an individual and for the first time, I am able to do that. We live with other people in the House and I will not be with you 24/7".
When Talia said there were issues between her and her sister that she would not reveal on continental television, Talia exploded with anger. A stand-off ensued, with Tamara refusing to allow her sister to leave the Diary Room.
The two went back and forth at each other for close to 30 minutes until Big Brother was forced to intervene. The two sisters each stormed out of the Diary Room and went in separate directions.
Tamara jumped into bed and cooled off under the covers, while Talia went to the garden and attempted to play the guitar.
We're pretty sure the sisters are not talking to each other today. Will they recover just in time for the Task Presentation tomorrow?

Woman Stopped From Boarding Flight For Showing Too Much Boobs

WOMAN was stopped from boarding a Las Vegas to New York flight for showing too much cleavage.Staff on US airline Southwest ruled the passenger’s open cotton dress was “inappropriate” as it exposed a large amount of her boobs.
The woman - named only as Avital - ignored the ruling and managed to board the 6am jet, which reached its destination without issue.
She said: "I didn't want to let the representative's big feelings about my breasts change the way I intended to board my flight..
"And lo and behold, the plane didn't fall out of the sky...my cleavage did not interfere with the plane's ability to function properly.”
Southwest spokesperson Christi McNeill said the company offered Avital an apology and a refund "as a gesture of goodwill.”
She added: "We simply ask that our customers use good judgement and exercise discretion in deference to other customers who depend on us to provide a comfortable travel experience.”

Top actresses Yvonne Okoro and Mercy Johnson are no doubt two great actresses that Africa has produced. Their acting prowess is not just amazing but indeed a force to reckon with.

In the past weeks, there have been reports about them coming together in a film. But subsequent revelations suggest that won’t happen anytime soon because Yvonne Okoro has turned down the deal over issues which are yet to be made public.

Both actresses have not spoken about the issue yet.

As fans keep their fingers crossed for the two stars to feature in a movie together, others are also busy comparing the duo’s sexy figures and their talents on the silver screens.

The two actresses’ boobs have become a subject of discussion, especially as they don’t look like implants. However, the bone of contention is which of the two actresses has appealing boobs.

Mercy Johnson
Mercy Johnson doesn’t mind flaunting her boobs on the screens and even at public events.

Several photos of her in the past, before her controversial marriage, showed her flaunting her boobs.

She did that with ease, according to Nollywood media, as though she believed in the school of thought that one should show what he or she had.

Yvonne Okoro on the other hand had been covering her boobs until she exposed them at the African Movie Academy Awards in Nigeria.

She had since gotten the world, especially Africa, talking about the exposure. However, she has returned to her old way of covering them.

Both actresses’ boobs look very beautiful, succulent and extremely attractive but it is very difficult to conclude who has the sexiest.

Prezzo and Keitta talk dirty on Maneta

Manetta alongside Roki was yestrday diqualified from the Big brother Stargame after Maneta has survived two eviction.Prezzo couldn't wait to give Keagan the lowdown on Maneta, calling her names and generally dissing her.
The guys lay in bed and listened to Prezzo dishing all the dirt on Maneta. Keitta obviously had a lot to say as well seeing as Maneta occasionally threw herself at him.
Prezzo went on to say that though Maneta had been feeling low in the morning, she brightened up as soon as she saw Organic Root Stimulator's Dr. Reggie. Prezzo and Keitta went on to laugh about Maneta's toes "I once told her that those toes can hug a tree," Keitta said.
This was after Keitta said "I hate seeing a beautiful girl with a stinking attitude." The guys concluded that Maneta's attitude was just to get votes from Africa and the fact that she had survived Eviction twice had gone to her head.
Would you say the guys are justified to be badmouthing Maneta like this even though she has already been disqualified from StarGame?
